Exploring Our Roots: A Memorable Tour to the Source

Published: Friday 16th, August, 2024
In an effort to deepen our understanding of heritage, culture, and the rich history that shapes our identity, the Ikorodu Division Youth Initiatives is on a remarkable "Tour to the Source." This enriching journey is not only an exploration of our ancestral roots but also an opportunity for young leaders to connect with the values and traditions that continue to influence our present and future.
The "Tour to the Source" is more than just an educational trip; it is a call to action for the youth. It emphasized the importance of embracing our identity, understanding our history, and using this knowledge to make informed decisions that benefit our communities. The tour serves as a reminder that while we forge ahead with innovation and modernity, our roots must remain strong and intact.
We are pleased to announce that this tour is organized in partnership with several youth-led organizations, including National Association of Ikorodu Division Students, Ikorodu Students' Association, Igbogbo Students' Union, Ijede Students' Union, Ikorodu North Students Union, Imota Students' Union, Oshodi Arts Gallery, The Impact Newspaper.
