Call for Applications: IDYI Business Support Program – Empowering the Next Generation of Entrepreneurs

The Ikorodu Division Youth Initiatives (IDYI) is thrilled to announce the launch of its Business Support Program, designed to empower and uplift young entrepreneurs within the Ikorodu Division.
About the IDYI Business Support Program
The IDYI Business Support Program is a flagship initiative aimed at nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit among youth in Ikorodu. Our mission is to provide young entrepreneurs with the necessary tools, resources, and mentorship to build sustainable and successful businesses. We believe that youth are the catalysts for economic growth, and through this program, we aim to foster a new generation of business leaders who can drive positive change in their communities.
What the Program Offers:
Business Training Workshops: Gain access to a series of hands-on training sessions covering essential aspects of business development, including financial management, marketing strategies, business planning, and more.
Mentorship: Work closely with experienced mentors who will guide you through the challenges of running a business and help you refine your ideas for greater success.
Networking Opportunities: Connect with like-minded young entrepreneurs, industry experts, and potential investors. Expand your network and explore collaborative opportunities.
Access to Funding: With support from the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund (LSETF), selected participants will have the opportunity to pitch their business ideas and get access to seed funding, grants and loans to kickstart or scale their ventures.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
Must be a resident of the Ikorodu Division (Ikorodu west, Ikorodu North, Ijede, Imota, Igbogbo-Bayeku LCDAs and Ikorodu Central).
Must have a business idea or an existing start-up in need of support.
Demonstrated commitment to growing their business and contributing to the community.
